I think I am qualified to answer this question as I use Clickbank all the time!
Thing is, you are lucky it is a Clickbank product you want to download because Clickbank has a mandatory refund policy of 60 days on every product bought on its market place.

For example a couple of weeks ago I bought a statistics download for one of my websites. Trouble was it was not compatable with the blog I was using. I requested a refund from Clickbank and had the money back in my account within 7 days…no questions asked.

Keep your Clickbank receipt and the transaction numbers it issues when the purchase happens.It will be sent to your nominated email

From personal experince, clickbank may promise a product but it does not deliver. I tried to buy Limewire Pro for my daughter. The purchase was through clickbank. I received an email instructing me how to download the program. However; Limewire doesn’t recognize my email so I can download, bankclick sends me the same email over and over again. So they ripped me off for the money I paid to download Limewire, but never delivered. None of the telephone numbers I have found ever get answered, and the email is always the same generic automated response to an email to them. What I have read about them and how so many people are very unsatisfied by their lack of payments to investors, I would say if you want to make the top levels richer, sign up. Otherwise stay clear of these people!

Clickbank is no where near close to a scam .. You are completely safe using them. The best part is if you don’t like the product you purchase they are really good about giving refunds …
